Estella's words and blame on Miss Havisham for her actions is weighing heavily on my mind. Just because she was raised by Miss Havisham, doesn't mean Estella has to follow her teaching. I know we do follow some of are parent's teaching, but we make that choice don’t' we? When you live your life, you make your choices; not for your parents. I just don't believe that we always follow our family footsteps. Coming from a traditional background, I choose to walk the way of my people. Not because my grandparents expected it, but because I chose to live in the traditional way. I think Estella needs to own up to her actions.
